Unique Cultural Heritage site:
Navo Island is classified as a location of archeological importance.
The first islanders of Navo arrived around 3000 years ago.
They left behind them the testimony of their life style. Caves,
sacred sites and an ancient village are their heritage from
the pass and the legacy to the Fijian and those who want to
share the values of this culture. A permanent site survey realized
by the Fijian Museum jointly with the developer and an Annex
of the Museum will be a part of this project.
